Job summary

Designer Bath in Watertown, MA seeks a full-time Showroom Sales Associate to exceed customer expectations with service, knowledge, and active sales. You will greet customers, quote projects, maintain displays, and build repeat business with contractors and designers.

You’ll work evenings/weekends and earn commission on sales while helping meet store goals. You’ll use knowledge of kitchen/bath products, close deals, and maintain Specbooks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by phone and in person
• Meet with and sell to customers (contractors, designers, homeowners)
• Quote preparation and distribution for projects
• Maintain Specbooks for customers
• Follow up on quotes until order is closed or rejected
• Collaborate with contractors to keep projects on schedule
• Keep customers apprised of order status
• Build a network of repeat customers in trades
• Maintain display pricing and condition of displays
• Develop product knowledge and stay current with trends
• Participate in meetings and vendor trainings
• Assist in-store promotions and events
• Ensure store environment is clean and attractive
• Monitor storefront for neatness
• Shop safety compliance
• Professional appearance
