Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus in Columbus, NE is seeking a dedicated Bath Aide (CNA) for part-time shifts 6a-2p, 2 days a week. You will provide baths, monitor safety, and document care to ensure resident comfort and dignity.

You will join a skilled nursing team focused on rehabilitation and resident well-being, with emphasis on infection prevention, HIPAA compliance, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• Experience with personal hygiene or bathing care preferred.
• Attentive to resident needs and gentle in approach.
• Knowledge of infection control and skin care protocols.
• Physically capable of assisting residents with bathing.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete and partial baths, bed baths, showers and perineal care.
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy and dignity during hygiene.
• Observe and report skin changes, rashes, wounds or bruising.
• Monitor water temperature and safety during care.
• Assist with dressing and grooming after hygiene procedures.
• Document completed care services accurately.
• Fill in as CNA as needed to meet residents' needs.
• Follow HIPAA/confidentiality policies and maintain records.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bath Aide to join our care team at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus, where we proudly offer the highest level of rehabilitation and skilled nursing in a post-acute setting. As a Bath Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health, dignity, and comfort of our residents.

Work Environment

This position operates in a skilled nursing facility where you will work closely with our compassionate and skilled team to provide exceptional care to our residents.

Bath Aide Responsibilities

• Provide complete and partial baths, bed baths, showers, and perineal care
• Maintain residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity during hygiene care
• Observe and report any skin changes, rashes, wounds, or bruising
• Monitor water temperature and safety protocols during all care
• Assist with dressing and grooming after hygiene procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of bathing areas and equipment
• Assist residents with toileting and incontinence care if needed
• Accurately document completed care services
• Fill in as a Certified Nurse Aide as needed to meet residents' needs
• Maintain accurate records and follow HIPAA/confidentiality policies
• Support the care team with tasks related to resident safety and comfort

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Experience in personal hygiene or bathing care preferred
• Attentive to resident needs, respectful, and gentle demeanor
• Knowledge of infection control and skin care protocols
• Physically capable of assisting residents in bathing safely
