Express Employment – Brookfield is hiring Batchmakers for Broadview, IL. 1st shift 2:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2nd shift 2:00 PM–2:00 AM, weekend 6:30 AM–7:30 PM, at $18.00/hr. These positions support high‑quality food production with safety and quality standards.

You’ll read batch tickets, adjust ingredients, operate mixers and conveyors, and document production while upholding cleanliness and safety. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial mixing.
• Ability to read batch tickets and production instructions.
• Able to lift 20–50 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable around machinery and production dust.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of the mixing operation and ingredient prep.
• Read batch tickets to ensure accurate production.
• Adjust water and yeast levels based on conditions.
• Operate mixers, conveyors and robotic equipment safely.
• Complete batch tickets for lot tracking and traceability.
• Monitor dough quality and make process adjustments.
• Assist with sanitation and cleaning of equipment.
• Help train new Batchmakers and support production areas.
