Mars is seeking a Batching Operator in the United States to safely receive, analyze, and process raw ingredients, while performing preventative maintenance and training other processing associates. This role supports production of finished pet food and operates multiple processing lines.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and reading/writing skills, and 3+ years in manufacturing. The job requires physical stamina, lifting up to 52 lbs, and teamwork with GMP knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines.
• Knowledge of GMPs and housekeeping.
• Demonstrated computer and PC software competency (MS Office, email).

Responsabilités

• Operate total batch processing of units and maintain system logs.
• Perform quality checks and ensure conformance reports.
• Manage batching schedule for mixed meal deliveries via hammer mill and screening system.
• Train other associates in operation of areas and systems.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and promote safety and product integrity.
• Troubleshoot processing systems to improve performance and reduce downtime.
