Job summary

Vibrant Ingredients, a leading provider of natural ingredients, is seeking a Batch Operator to join our Indianapolis operations. You will prepare ingredients per batch paperwork and recipes, ensuring accuracy in weights and measurements to deliver consistent product quality.

You will work with batching equipment, monitor processes for quality, and assist with CIP cleaning as needed. This role demands attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing, batching, or related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret batch paperwork, recipe cards, and safety rules.
• Good math skills and ability to calculate weights and measurements.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to production schedules.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.

Responsibilities

• As a Batching Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to batch paperwork and recipes to create products with exceptional food protection, texture, color, and flavor.
• Complete Clean-In-Place (CIP) as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
