Job summary

INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Weighing Batch Process Technician for 2nd shift (3:30pm–2:00am). You will use batch records to verify, measure, label and document raw materials in preparation for processing, while following GMPs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing for 10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, attention to detail, and teamwork. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write basic English.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs from ground to waist frequently.
• Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to work 10 hours a day standing up.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas and equipment to be used, verifying it is free of contaminants.
• Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within the expiration period.
• Verify all ingredients so they match the batch record.
• Open bags, boxes and other containers.
• Use scales to measure raw materials and repackage to send to Blending.
• Weigh drums individually and all together to recording then verify the weight.
• Label all containers appropriately including product name, Lot number, weight, number of doses.
• Use logbooks to document raw materials, equipment, product tracking, etc.
• Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs.
• Follow all safety policies and ensure work environment is free of safety hazards.
