The role involves staging and preparing raw materials for production, maintaining clean batch areas, and ensuring safe operations on the line. You will communicate material shortages and assist with packaging and basic computer tasks, with downtime training as directed by supervision.

The position emphasizes safety, proper PPE, and adherence to procedures while supporting hazardous waste handling and quality control processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience; 1 year as a production batch maker preferred.
• Must pass standard eye exam and color-tone testing.
• Able to wear respirators and PPE as required.
• Experience with scanners and basic computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in batch making and packaging areas.
• Notify supervision of low material levels.
• Operate packaging equipment efficiently.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling as needed.
• Train on downtime by Production Supervisor or assign line duties.
• Report spills, leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and material shortages.
