Job summary

Guardian Protection Products in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Direct Labor associate responsible for mixing and packaging in-process and finished goods inventory. The role includes staging raw materials, maintaining clean batch areas, and supporting safety and quality controls.

You will operate packaging equipment and scanners, assist in downtime training, and promptly report spills, leaks, and material shortages to supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College chemistry course experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and prepare all raw materials for production batches.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness in batch making and packaging areas while promoting safety.
• Communicate low material levels to supervision.
• Develop working knowledge of batch making and packaging processes.
• Maintain good relations with Quality Control and optimize switchover sequences.
