Job summary

Pave Talent partners with a Bay Area client scaling a first-to-market advanced-materials platform. This role centers on Statistical Process Control, improving first-pass yield, and reducing costs across two Fremont sites.

The candidate will manage batch chemical processes, perform root-cause analyses, and drive corrective actions with QA. A BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required, MS a plus, with 3+ years in process engineering and permanent US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Experience with batch chemical processes in production or pilot plant settings.
• Familiarity with flammable solvents and corrosive chemicals.
• Exposure to Six Sigma Green Belt level CI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform SPC on critical processes and investigate out-of-control conditions.
• Identify root causes of process deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain end-to-end Nonconforming Material Reports and implement preventive measures.
• Generate periodic statistical reports for customers.
• Support Corrective Action Requests for customer complaints tied to batch manufacturing.
• Prepare work instructions for existing products and assist maintenance and operations with MOC.
• Support calibration program for equipment and instrumentation.
