Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a dedicated operator to run the batch plant and place concrete safely in a manufacturing setting. You will handle mixer controls, crane-assisted placement, forklift movement, and material weighing while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, lifting up to 40 lbs, and good teamwork. Candidates with 1 year of related experience are preferred, with strong attention to safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in related industry preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills such as reading fractions and a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixer control panel.
• Dump mix from tub into pour bucket.
• Placement of concrete in forms via overhead crane operation.
• Operate a forklift / loader.
• Properly weigh materials for mix, operate mixer and deliver mix in a timely manner.
• Maintain housekeeping and quality standards.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

Job Summary
