Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a hands-on Batch Plant Operator to run the concrete batching process in our Fayetteville facility. You will operate the mixer, control the batch plant (Command Alkon), and pour concrete using an overhead crane while ensuring product quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have concrete fundamentals, finishing experience, and at least 2 years at a batch plant.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete fundamentals is preferred.
• Concrete finishing experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience running a batch plant is preferred.
• Experience operating Command Alkon is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer Machine and Batch Plant (Command Alkon).
• Uses overhead crane to pour concrete.
• Notify supervisor of non-conforming product or problems with machine, materials, etc.
• Communicate production issues with other employees and supervisors.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance ensuring it meets quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
• Understand and apply safe use and operation of the equipment and communicates with other employees about safety-related matters.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will work to operate the batch plant and place concrete safely and accurately to maintain efficient and quality production.
