Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a Batch Mixer in Battle Creek, MI. You will mix ingredients, follow production formulas, and operate forklifts to move materials while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

You’ll work Monday through Friday, with a shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and be paid weekly. Starting pay is $19.25 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Attention to detail and math formulation skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and working in wet or humid environments for extended periods.
• Maintain strong safety awareness.
• Follow GMPs, SSOPs, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Batch and mix ingredients according to formulas and procedures.
• Assemble, sanitize, and maintain mixing/scaling equipment.
• Verify ingredient availability, accuracy, and equipment readiness.
• Maintain inventory traceability and accurate production records.
• Perform quality checks and identify product inconsistencies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work extended periods standing/walking.
