Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our Mississippi facility. You will help keep production running safely, efficiently, and with high quality by monitoring machines, conducting pre-operation checks, and addressing issues promptly.

This full-time role offers weekly pay, paid holidays and vacation, and a collaborative team setting. Eligible candidates will meet safety requirements and pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the machine and keep it filled with the required product to support uninterrupted production.
• Perform pre-operation checks and activities to ensure equipment is ready for safe and efficient startup.
• Operate and monitor multiple pieces of production equipment.
• Identify and respond to equipment or production issues to help minimize unplanned downtime.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Follow standardized work procedures and all required safety practices.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-speed production environment.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to maintain continuous production.
• Help reduce wasted time and materials while meeting quality and production expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Approximately 48 hours per week

What You’ll Do
