Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Tennessee is seeking a dependable Material Handler to move materials safely in a busy manufacturing facility. You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, and help maintain organized stock and production flow.

This full-time, 3rd shift role requires a minimum of 2 years forklift experience, ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and adherence to PPE and safety rules. Weekly pay and company benefits are offered.

Join the LACOSTA team as a Material Handler , helping keep materials moving safely and efficiently throughout a busy manufacturing facility. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Job Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Example: Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun; then Mon, Thurs, Fri

• Night Shift: 7:00PM-7:00AM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.50/hr.

Job Description: Responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy machinery to move products within the warehouse and loading/unloading trucks.

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution.
• Contributes to orderly operation of stock/materials storage area.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying and supplies listed on production orders.
• Locates and packs materials for shipping.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Pass background checks and drug screening
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Wear LACOSTA Shirt, steel-toed boots/shoes, long pants, and any other required PPE
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
• THIS IS A SMOKE FREE FACILITY
