Job summary

Axalta in Orrville, OH is seeking a Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. You will manufacture batches according to production formulas, weigh materials, and operate mixing equipment.

This full-time night shift runs Sunday to Thursday, with occasional Friday shifts. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered after milestones, and benefits include health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Successful completion of a background check and physical examination.
• Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. and wear required PPE.
• Preferred: Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture batches according to production formulas and work instructions.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials.
• Handle solvents, resins, pigments, and other production materials.
• Operate mixing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete batch records and production documentation.
• Monitor product quality and follow standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.

We are currently looking for a Batch Maker to join us at our facility in Orrville, OH.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 PM-6:30 AM, with occasional Friday shifts (10:00 PM-6:30 AM) based on business needs.

Sign-On Bonus of $1500 ( $750 paid at 3 months, $750 paid at 6 months)

Key Responsibilities

• Previous manufacturing, production, or batch-making experience is preferred.
• Reach truck and counterbalance forklift experience preferred.

In addition, this role is eligible for benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.

The expected compensation range for this position is $24.25/hour. Shift differential for night shift once training is completed.
