Job summary

PLZ Corp in Coal City, IL is hiring a Manufacturing / Batch Operator to join our on-site team. You will read procedures, weigh and mix chemicals, and produce quality batch products while following SOPs and safety rules. Experience with solvents and basic inventory is preferred, and SAP will be used daily.

We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage ($20.00–$24.57/hr plus $1 shift differential) with opportunities for growth in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Some experience working with chemicals and solvent mixing and/or blending using powder and/or liquids strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read & follow procedures to create batches according to each order’s specifications and timelines
• Safely operate all required equipment for batch production
• Utilize SAP and other computer programs to assist with batch production
• Assist with raw chemical inventory as requested or required
