Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care at our Bastrop Free Standing Emergency Department. This role involves collaborating with medical providers and the care team to deliver compassionate care, assess patient needs, and ensure positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Assess patient pain and provide effective pain management.
2. Perform procedures and monitor patients as ordered by medical providers, documenting care accurately.
3. Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to improve patient experience.
4. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 months of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 1 year.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 days.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent within 1 year.
