Job summary

i9 Sports in Waipahu, Hawaii is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the youth sports experience for players and families. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional aspects are delivered and observed.

You will mentor volunteer coaches, supervise practices and games, and help maintain a positive, fun, and safe environment across age groups and skill levels throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to supervise safety of players.
• Willingness to work weekends for full season.
• Pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Season dates: Oct 24–Dec 5; Jan–Mar; Apr–Jun; July–Sept.

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while making sure that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.
