Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking an Assistant Coach, Baseball/Recreation Equipment Coordinator to support both the Division of Student Affairs and Athletics. The role blends coaching duties with managing the recreation equipment, uniforms, and practice gear to ensure readiness for all games and practices.

The incumbent will help plan, recruit, and develop student-athletes while supervising student employees and coordinating schedules under the Head Baseball Coach.

Qualifications

• Previous baseball playing and/or coaching experience.
• Pitching experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to athletes as students.
• Social media relations, fundraising, and community relations are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, recruit, coach, develop, implement and administer the program to meet department objectives.
• Oversee the equipment room operations, including uniforms and practice gear.
• Direct and assign work schedules for student employees.
