Collier County Public Schools invites applications for the Baseball Assistant Coach position at Barron Collier High in Naples, Florida. This role supports the baseball program during SPR season, mentoring student-athletes and assisting the head coach in practice sessions and games.

Applicants must have a Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification, be at least 21 years old, and possess a High School Diploma or GED. A Reference Letter and CPR/AED certification are required.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
• 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.

Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educators Certification.
