Job summary

Akima Intra-Data is seeking a Resource Protection Manager for our customer site at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN. This on-site role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

The successful candidate will implement the base Resource Protection Program, train custodians, and conduct audits and exercises to safeguard base resources and controlled areas. Strong communication with Air Force counterparts is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen.
• Able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
• Three-years prior law enforcement experience, preferably with expertise in resource protection.

Responsibilities

• Implement the base Resource Protection Program (RPP) per Air Force directives.
• Train RPP custodians in subordinate units on protecting base resources and controlled areas.
• Conduct anti-robbery and controlled area access exercises.
• Conduct base audits to ensure compliance and recommend program improvements.
• Work closely with Air Force counterparts and maintain good communication.
• Maintain appointment letters and unit monitor/custodian certifications.
• Ensure facilities meet resource protection requirements.
• Provide controlled area monitoring training.
• Maintain documentation for controller areas.
• Conduct exercises pertaining to unauthorized entry and anti-robbery procedures.
