Job summary

V2X is seeking a Base Operations Infrastructure Support (CE Operations) Lead to oversee all facets of Base Operations and Civil Engineering support at Ascension Auxiliary Airfield. This role coordinates daily and strategic tasks across facilities maintenance, power, HVAC, water systems, and environmental compliance, supervising a diverse technical team to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• Six years of experience relevant to Base Operations, infrastructure, or civil engineering.
• At least four years in a supervisory role managing technical staff across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tasks across Base Operations Infrastructure Support (Appendices W–AG) including facilities engineering, maintenance, power, HVAC, water/wastewater, and airfield infrastructure.
• Supervise and schedule CE support personnel to ensure mission readiness and contract compliance.
• Implement and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to verify compliance with the PWS.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and security regulations are followed during operations and maintenance of base infrastructure.
• Serve as primary CE Operations point of contact with government reps, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance for planning, design reviews, evaluations, and troubleshooting infrastructure systems.
• Maintain system documentation, create reports, and support audits and briefings.
• Remain available for emergency support and after-hours response on-site or remotely.
