Job summary

Navy Exchange in San Diego is seeking a Manager – Minimart to lead sales and operating activities for the assigned department. You will ensure proper stocking, attractive display, and staffing to meet sales and service goals.

The role requires three years of related experience and at least one year of specialized experience in merchandise controls, inventory, or promotions, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years general experience in administrative, clerical, retail sales or related work.
• One year specialized experience in merchandise controls, inventory, stock records or retail promotions.
• Progressive supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities in assigned retail and/or mall services departments.
• Ensure department is stocked, merchandised attractively, and staffed to meet goals.
• Coordinate stock replenishment with backroom and procurement.
• Develop customer relations programs and ensure service meets NES standards.
• Review sales reports and advise on promotions, goals, and budgets.
• Supervise, train, and motivate assigned sales associates.
• Ensure staffing levels and payroll align with business needs.
• Lead departmental promotions and post-promotion reviews with teams.
