Chimes at Andrews Air Force Base provides cleaning and building services in public and work spaces under supervision of on-site staff. The role involves performing daily cleaning tasks in accordance with contract specifications and safety procedures.

Shift time is Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 9:00pm, with a wage of $17.84 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning in areas assigned in accordance with contract specifications.
• Police public and secure areas.
• Clean walls.
• Clean window blinds.
• Dust mop, sweep and wet mop floors.
• Clean and disinfect all washable surfaces in public areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Ensure restrooms are supplied with required paper products and soap.
• Pull trash.
• Move, arrange and lift heavy items.
• Use cleaning materials properly.
• Clean elevators and escalators.
• Clean building exteriors and garages.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, steps, driveways and parking areas.
• Do routine glass and mirror cleaning.
• Vacuum tile and carpet.
• Do spot cleaning.
• Do special restoration as required.
• Dust various surfaces.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Assist with special events by setting up and taking down furniture.
