Job summary

Keystone Resort is seeking a Base Area Operator to help deliver an exceptional guest arrival experience in the base area. You will perform a variety of tasks across the base area to ensure smooth operations and great service throughout the winter season.

The role includes outdoor work, lifting up to 50 lb, and weekend/holiday shifts with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour. Housing is available and employment runs as a winter seasonal 2026/2027.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and teammates.
• Comfortable working outside in seasonal conditions.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work.

Job Summary: As the Base Area Operator, you will perform critical operations in the base area to deliver an incredible arrival experience for our guests. It is a great opportunity to perform a variety of different work through the day ensuring great service and smooth operations of the resort.

Job Specifications:

• Sarting Wage: $20.00/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in all base area operations which may include and is not limited to parking, scanning, or grounds maintenance at the base of the resort (inclusive of snow removal in the winter).
• Act as a flexible labor force for various projects and events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Follow procedures and guidelines to stay safe and keep your team safe – your safety is our priority.
• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments.
• Ability to lift 50 Lb. (22.6 Kg.)
• Ability to work standing on your feet and performing physical work consistently.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

ABase Area Operator team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
