Job summary

Selectlee in Wisconsin is seeking an Electrician specialized in BAS/Temperature Controls to install temperature control systems, conduit, cabling, panels, and field devices on site. You will work with project teams to complete installations safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of electrical experience, understands HVAC control sequences, can read blueprints, lift 50 lbs, and follow PPE/LOTO procedures. OSHA 10 preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

Job description

The BAS/Temperature Controls Electrician will play a key role in supporting the Electrical team by performing the installation of temperature control systems. This position involves working closely with project teams and field personnel to ensure that the project is getting done efficiently, effectively, and in a safe manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installation of temperature controls systems, including conduit, cabling, and field devices.
• Installation of panels, controllers, field devices, and cable terminations for a complete functional system.
• Safely wire and connect/disconnect electrical equipment up to 120VAC.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, wiring drawings, and project scope to perform installation on time and within budget.
• Proficient computer skills to lay out and as-build projects.
• Utilize arc flash and other PPE and properly perform LOTO procedures.
• Work in a safe manner and promote a safe working environment consistent with company safety procedures.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Key Competencies/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient understanding of HVAC systems and sequence of operations for HVAC controls.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, as part of a team, and lead others.
• Detail oriented with great organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Clean valid driver's license.
• Drug screening required.
• Must have two (2) years or more electrical experience.
• Ability to estimate and write change orders a plus.
• Minimum OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred.
