Job summary

Engineered Cooling Services (ECS) in Pensacola, FL, is seeking an Electrician/Installer to join our growing team. You will install low-voltage controls, conduit, wiring, and devices across commercial building automation projects, and help with system start-up and testing.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and documenting work. You’ll need strong reading of electrical drawings, physical endurance to work in varied environments, and a commitment to safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience installing low voltage controls systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wire, cable, and devices including panels, sensors, and components for a range of systems, ensuring their proper integration
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Perform wiring check-out and assist with system start-up; Disconnect and dismantle electric/electronic instruments, panels, sensors, etc. Troubleshoot wiring issues
• Coordinate with operations for the timely delivery of materials and supplies to the job site
• May be required to assist with electrical estimates
• Adhere to company and OSHA safety policies/procedures
• Work in a variety of environments around mechanical equipment, including ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment
