LeoForce is seeking a BAS Systems Specialist in Worcester, MA to support installation, programming, commissioning, and service of commercial building automation systems across the Central Massachusetts region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BAS/DDC systems, controls integration, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems in commercial environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS/BMS or HVAC controls experience.
• Hands-on BAS/DDC and controls integration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of complex HVAC systems.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical/controls drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, commission, and service BAS and HVAC control systems.
• Support BAS/DDC integrations with HVAC equipment, lighting, and energy management.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
• Interpret drawings and sequences of operation; configure networks.
• Configure BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based control networks.
• Support retrofit, upgrades, and new construction projects.
• Provide field service and technical support to customers.
• Assist with graphics, alarms, trending, and front-end BAS configuration.
• Document service activity and project updates; maintain customer relationships.

Location: Central Massachusetts Area

About the Role: We are seeking a BAS Systems Specialist to support the installation, programming, commissioning, and service of commercial building automation systems throughout the Central Massachusetts region. This role will work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to deliver high-quality HVAC controls and systems integration solutions across a variety of commercial and institutional facilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BAS/DDC systems, controls integration, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems in commercial environments. Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, commission, and service building automation and HVAC control systems
• Support BAS/DDC integrations involving HVAC equipment, lighting controls, and energy management systems
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance activities
• Interpret mechanical drawings, control schematics, sequences of operation, and engineering documentation
• Configure and troubleshoot BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based control networks
• Support retrofit, upgrade, and new construction projects across commercial facilities
• Provide technical support and field service to customers throughout the region
• Assist with graphics, alarms, trending, and front-end BAS configuration
• Document service activity, system changes, and project updates accuratelyMaintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and technical support

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, or systems integration
• Experience with DDC controls, field devices, controllers, and networked building systems
• Familiarity with Niagara/Tridium, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Alerton, or similar BAS platforms
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP networking, and control system communication protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC and controls-related issues independently
• Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license required
