Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Building Automation Service Technician to support commercial and institutional clients in the Greater Boston area. You’ll ensure BAS and connected HVAC equipment run reliably, delivering onsite maintenance, troubleshooting and system optimization.

Required is 3+ years of BAS/HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with BACnet/Modbus. A valid driver's license and good communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on BAS/HVAC control experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with BAS platforms and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Excellent communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site PM and service visits on BAS and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair BAS hardware and control systems.
• Support start-ups, testing, calibration and verification.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with software updates, backups and configuration checks.
• Respond to service calls and dispatch requests promptly.
• Maintain service documentation and field logs.
