Job summary

EMCOR Services Automated Controls, a division of DeBra-Kuempel, is seeking a BAS Service Technician to perform maintenance, startup, and troubleshooting of building automation systems on-site and remotely. The role requires extensive controls experience, strong technical skills, and excellent customer service to manage service documentation, contract hours, and communications with clients.

Qualifications

• MET Technical Degree, MES Journeyman, or equivalent preferred.
• 7–10 years related experience in controls/mechanical industry; controls service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple control systems and contract documentation.
• Familiar with building automation software and MS Office.
• Excellent customer relations and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled controls preventative maintenance for building automation systems.
• Perform startup/checkout/commissioning of building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace building automation components.
• Provide remote support for BAS customers.
• Log maintenance tasks and complete service ticket reports.
