Job summary

Albireo Energy in New York seeks a Service Systems Specialist to execute HVAC Building Automation projects, from startup to commissioning, for small to medium sized new or retrofit projects. You will perform start-up, testing, diagnostics and system verification on controllers and end devices, ensuring proper installation and operation.

The role includes preventive maintenance, emergency service, software loading on controllers and servers, and direct customer interaction to communicate issues

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electronic or digital control systems.
• Two to four years of experience servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment.
• Degree or equivalent with relevant fieldexperience.

Responsibilities

• Perform start up, testing, system diagnostics and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium sized new or retrofit projects.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance service activities to ensure optimal performance of system.
• Provide emergency service and response to customer sites as dispatched.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair control components and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, and electrical issues.
• Load and update software on network controllers, field controllers, computers, and servers.
• Interface with service manager and subcontractors to coordinate activities on projects.
