Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking a Service Systems Specialist to perform startup, commissioning, preventive maintenance and on-site service for HVAC Building Automation projects. You will diagnose and repair control systems, update software, and engage with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong knowledge of electronic control systems, a valid driver’s license, and experience with HVAC controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electronic or digital control systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Experience servicing electronic controls and HVAC equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform start up, testing, system diagnostics and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium projects.
• Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide emergency service and response to customer sites as dispatched.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair or replace control components and systems; address mechanical and electrical BAS issues.
• Load and update software on network controllers, field controllers, computers and servers.
• Coordinate activities with service manager, project manager or subcontractors professionally.
• Assist sales by providing technical recommendations for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of control systems

Valid driver’s license

Education

Vocational School graduate (4-year program)

Associate’s degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field
