Job summary

Kelso Building Services in Houston, TX seeks a BAS Projects / Parts Coordinator to provide administrative, procurement, material and project coordination support for the Building Automation Systems team.

Responsibilities include coordinating BAS project documentation, obtaining pricing, ordering and tracking controls parts, maintaining project records, supporting quotations, and ensuring technicians have the materials needed on time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, purchasing, service coordination, or related technical environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, quotations, orders, and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related applications.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field technicians, Project Managers, customers, vendors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Assist BAS Project Managers with project setup, documentation, scheduling, procurement, and closeout activities.
• Establish and maintain project folders and required documentation per KBS standards.
• Track milestones, material requirements, submittals, approvals, deliveries, and action items.
• Coordinate with BAS engineering, programming, installation, service, and project management personnel.
• Assist with equipment schedules, BOMs, and project material requirements.
• Maintain project logs for RFIs, submittals, change requests, material status, and other docs.
• Support BAS project closeout packages with warranties, as-built docs, and O&M information.
