Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee building automation and HVAC BAS projects in Bloomington, IL from kickoff through installation, commissioning, and final client turnover.

You will review specifications, coordinate field technicians and subcontractors, and monitor progress, budgets, and safety to ensure on-time delivery. The role demands strong communication and multitasking across multiple projects and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of BAS/HVAC controls or related HVAC project management experience.
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and mechanical/electrical plans.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage BAS projects from kickoff through installation, startup, commissioning, client turnover, and closeout.
• Review project specifications, MEP drawings, schedules, and codes to establish project requirements.
• Coordinate project teams, field technicians, subcontractors, materials, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, labor, and overall financial performance.
• Manage progress billings, change orders, purchasing, and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate with clients, sales, operations, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, resolve issues, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met.
• Manage project documentation, closeout deliverables, and warranty activities.
