Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Project Manager to lead BAS projects from kickoff through installation, commissioning and final turnover in Bloomington, IL.

The role requires 5+ years in BAS/HVAC controls or related HVAC mechanical project management, with the ability to interpret MEP drawings and coordinate multiple teams and schedules. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Five (~5) + years of BAS/HVAC controls or relevant HVAC mechanical project management experience.
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, construction specifications, and mechanical/electrical plans.
• Experience coordinating project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of BAS, HVAC systems, mechanical contracting, or related building systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage BAS projects from kickoff through installation, startup, commissioning, client turnover, and closeout.
• Review project specifications, MEP drawings, schedules, and codes to establish project requirements.
• Coordinate project teams, field technicians, subcontractors, materials, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, labor, and overall financial performance.
• Manage progress billings, change orders, purchasing, and subcontractor payments.
• Coordinate with clients, sales, operations, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, resolve issues, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule requirements are met.
• Manage project documentation, closeout deliverables, and warranty activities.
