Benedict Sales & Service, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Controls Technician HVAC/R to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair complex BAS and control systems.

This role operates largely independently, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and requires 3+ years of HVAC/R experience with control systems. EPA Universal Certification is required, with travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HVAC/R and/or controls required.
• 3+ years in HVAC/R with control systems experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, and programs BAS, PLC controllers, and environmental controls.
• Diagnoses and repairs pneumatic, electronic, and digital control systems.
• Calibrates temperature, pressure, and humidity controls; performs preventive HVAC/R maintenance.
• Uses software to monitor system performance and BAS networking (BACnet, Modbus, N2).
• Communicates project plans with internal teams, clients, and customers.
• Reviews design plans and provides control sequences for remodels and new constructions.
