Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Technician to install, startup, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems across the Chicago area. You will commission new systems, diagnose issues, and provide exceptional service to customers while supporting project teams and field operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of BAS experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. Local travel around Chicago is expected; medical, 401K, and PTO benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience servicing or commissioning commercial BAS.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, startup, troubleshoot, and service BAS and HVAC control systems.
• Perform controller programming and system commissioning.
• Diagnose communication, network, and control issues to keep systems running.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers on installations and service.
• Read control drawings and wiring diagrams; document work performed.
