Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a BAS Controls Technician in Raleigh, NC to install, program, commission, and service building automation systems across commercial projects. You will work directly with customers, project teams, and field technicians to deliver high-quality control solutions.

The role requires 3-5+ years of BAS/HVAC experience, proficiency with Niagara or Distech platforms, and a valid driver's license. On-site field work with occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience with BAS/HVAC controls systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences.
• Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara (N4/AX), Distech, or similar.
• Ability to troubleshoot, program, and commission DDC systems.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and in the field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission BAS/DDC systems for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Troubleshoot and service control systems at customer sites.
• Verify system performance and ensure sequences meet project specifications.
• Develop and implement control programs, databases, and graphics.
• Complete commissioning documentation and maintain accurate as-built records.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to support project execution.
• Provide technical support, training, and follow-up for end users.
• Assist HVAC technicians with controls-related issues in the field.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team development.
• Identify service opportunities and support ongoing customer relationships.
