Job summary
M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician to support complex mechanical and controls infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.
The role requires hands-on experience with Schneider Electric control systems and Niagara N4, with a focus on reliability and performance. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BAS facilities such as chiller plants, AHUs, VAVs, and pumps, mentor junior staff, coordinate with vendors, and maintain documentation while
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED with 7+ years BAS/Controls experience.
- 5+ years in controls programming and system integration.
- Niagara N4 certification and Schneider Electric training.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot BAS infrastructure with Schneider Electric controllers.
- Administer Niagara N4 front-end systems used as a supervisory overlay.
- Troubleshoot across controls, field devices, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain chiller plants, cooling towers, AHUs, VAVs, and VFDs.
- Lead projects, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with vendors.
