Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician to support complex control infrastructure in mission-critical environments. You will operate, monitor, and optimize BAS systems, with hands-on work on Schneider Electric controllers and Niagara N4 front-ends.

The role requires a strong troubleshooting mindset, independence in live spaces, and collaboration with operations and leadership to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 5 years of BAS/Controls experience.
• Practical knowledge of Schneider Electric BAS platforms.
• Experience with Niagara N4 and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, monitor, maintain BAS infrastructure using Schneider Electric EcoStruxure/SmartStruxure.
• Support Niagara N4 front-end systems as supervisory overlay.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across controls and mechanical systems.
• Maintain documentation, as-builts, sequences of operation, and change records.
• Mentor Facilities team on operation and control of the BMS.
