ARCO Companies in Chicago, IL is seeking a BAS Controls Project Manager to lead projects from design to completion. You will oversee DDC, PLC, and SCADA programming and coordinate with clients and design teams to deliver ARCO’s integrated model on complex projects.

The role requires 5–10 years of DDC/industrial controls experience, strong control systems knowledge, and hands-on field work with low-voltage controls. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of DDC or industrial controls experience.
• Strong understanding of control systems architecture (DDC PLCs HMIs SCADA).
• Experience with Tridium Niagara platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of a project from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee DDC, PLC, and SCADA programming, including mapping, sequencing, testing, graphics, and field integration.
• Review narratives, drawings, submittals, and as-builts for accuracy and compliance.
• Support equipment and controls buyout, including instrumentation selection and procurement planning.
• Direct field installation activities for low-voltage controls and panel installation.
• Collaborate with clients and design team to deliver ARCO’s integrated model on complex projects.
• Grow ARCO’s self-perform controls services.
• Troubleshooting from discovery to final issue resolution.
• Work on projects including Mission Critical, Advanced Manufacturing, Power & Gas Infrastructure, Municipal and more.
• Keep safety and quality at the forefront; make construction fun for clients and partners.
