Job summary

Bestlogic Staffing’s client is seeking a Building Automation Controls Engineer to design and support BAS, including HVAC, across projects in Hartford, CT. The engineer will handle system programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning under the guidance of the Operations and Engineering Manager, with a focus on high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include 2+ years programming experience, a 4-year degree preferred, familiarity with BACnet/Niagara AX, Tridium AX

Responsibilities

Develop and implement new DDC projects for BAS.
Programming, monitoring, and installing BAS including HVAC and integrated systems.
Updating and maintaining the graphical web interface for system monitoring and diagnostics.
Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC and computer/controller systems.
Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and integration.
Compile and maintain as-built drawings, closeout documentation, and system records.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction and high standards of quality.
