Job summary

You will install, program, commission, integrate, and troubleshoot BAS and facility management systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years HVAC controls experience, with knowledge of chillers, boilers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAVs, and can communicate technical concepts to customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC controls, BAS integration, and subsystem experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAV systems.
• Experience configuring, programming, and commissioning building automation controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot building automation and control systems.
• Perform point-to-point checkout, startup, and total system commissioning.
• Integrate third-party devices and subsystems into Niagara-based platforms.
• Program and configure BAS software, alarms, trends, graphics, and operator workstations.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and sequence of operations.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, engineers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Complete commissioning documentation and support as-built documentation.
• Conduct customer training and assist with system turnover to service teams.

Compri is looking for a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Phoenix. This is an onsite role.

This position is responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of building automation systems (BAS) and facility management systems. The ideal candidate has strong HVAC controls experience, excels at problem-solving, and can effectively communicate technical concepts to customers, contractors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
