Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Building Automation Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, DDC programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will work independently to support the growth of our Building Automation division, handling system start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting while reading drawings and configuring controllers. Experience with Niagara N4 certification is encouraged, and familiarity with Distech,

Qualifications

3+ years of BAS/BMS experience required.
Hands-on experience with BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, DDC controls, system programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings; reading schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Support growth of the Building Automation division while working independently.
Program and configure controllers for BAS/BMS projects.
Conduct system startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of controls and communication issues.
Read drawings and install/control wiring, sensors, actuators, VAVs, AHUs and RTUs.
