Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Building AutomationHVAC technician to deliver responsive service, diagnose direct digital control systems, and support commissioning and retrofits.

You will train technicians, develop programming for new installations, and ensure control sequences meet specifications. You will inspect trend logs, support HVAC crews, and maintain records while communicating status to customers before, during, and after calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive and professional customer service to build long-term relationships.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacements as needed.
• Maintain building automation systems by inspecting logs, schedules, and hardware.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians.
• Train and mentor junior technicians.
• Create/implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
• Commission control installations and verify sequences meet design/specifications.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and reports in a timely manner.
• Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Uphold standards, policies, and maintain a clean work area.
