Job summary

CMS Controls Atlanta is seeking an Applications Engineer in Marietta, GA to act as the technical bridge between sales, estimating, and field execution. You’ll own BAS project design, select applications and products, and produce BOMs and documentation for field teams.

The role requires 3–7 years in HVAC controls with NIagara N4/Distech experience; BACnet knowledge is a plus. Hybrid collaboration with Account Managers and Project Executive is common as you support open-platform integrations.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in HVAC controls or BAS apps engineering
• Niagara N4 and Distech experience preferred
• BACnet/open-protocol integration familiarity
• Able to read mechanical/electrical drawings and specs
• Estimating experience with bid docs

Responsibilities

• Review specs, drawings, and RFQs to develop scope, take-offs, and estimates
• Select applications and products to fit requirements and budget
• Design BAS solutions including network, panel layouts, and sequences
• Develop bills of materials and bid documents
• Coordinate with Account Managers on proposals and handoffs
