Punch Bowl Social in San Mateo, CA is seeking bartenders to join a vibrant team. You will work behind the bar with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences and upholding brand standards in service and beverage knowledge.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with tips, flexible hours, growth opportunities, and a referral bonus program. Prior high-volume bar experience is a plus. Must be 21+ and ready to contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences.
• Uphold beverage program knowledge and brand standards.
• Follow steps of service to meet brand expectations.
• Enter orders and process payments using Aloha POS.
• Clean and sanitize bar top and service areas every 30 minutes.
• Rotate as Bar Back and manage cash per procedures.

• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant/bar is ideal

What you'll be doing:

• Working as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences
• Uphold the integrity of the beverage program with a high level of knowledge on brand standards, technique, and expectations in craft beverage service
• Follow steps of service to meet brand standards
• Uses Aloha POS for entering orders/processing payments
• Cleans and sanitizes the bar top and guest service areas every 30 minutesWashes all barware dishes
• Rotates shifts as Bar Backs
• Responsible for proper cash management
