Job summary

Victory Brewing Company in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Bartender to greet guests, serve beer and cocktails, and provide an outstanding hospitality experience.

You will manage bar stock, enter orders into POS, and coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Some events and private dining participation may occur.

Must be 21+, with strong communication, a passion for craft beverages, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Passion for hospitality and craft beverages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort discussing products with guests.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with craft cocktails is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly as they are seated at the bar and ensure a welcoming bar experience.
• Prepare and serve liquor, cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages as ordered.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely prep.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock with clean glassware and supplies.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and check IDs as required.
• Process payments and handle transactions via POS; communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and bar prep (fruit/garnish, syrups, batching).
• Participate in private dining events or special functions as needed.

This role combines product knowledge with exceptional customer service to create memorable interactions that reflect the values and quality of our brand.Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on dutyKey ResponsibilitiesGreet guests timely as they are seated at the bar; ensure bar is clean and that coasters, utensils, napkins, and other needs have been providedPrepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered from guests and waitstaffAccurately and efficiently enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) systemCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and deliveryCompletion of all required bar prep, including but not limited to cutting fruit/garnish, making syrups, batching cocktails, etc.Maintains a clean, organized bar and ensures it is stocked with clean glasswareFollows all Alcohol Service laws and is mindful of safe alcohol service, including checking photo IDsProcesses guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS systemCommunicate clearly and respectfully with guests, teammates, and managementChange, move, and organize kegs as neededAssist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up the barAssist with other side work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware and refilling condimentsPerforms other related duties as assignedPrivate Dining & Special Events ParticipationFrom time to time, Servers and Bartenders may be scheduled to work private dining events, buyouts, or special functions.
