As a Bartender, you will serve as the face of our brand in the taproom, engaging with guests to educate them about our products while delivering an outstanding hospitality experience. This role combines product knowledge with exceptional customer service to create memorable interactions that reflect the values and quality of our brand.Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on dutyKey ResponsibilitiesGreet guests timely as they are seated at the bar; ensure bar is clean and that coasters, utensils, napkins, and other needs have been providedPrepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered from guests and waitstaffAccurately and efficiently enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) systemCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and deliveryCompletion of all required bar prep, including but not limited to cutting fruit/garnish, making syrups, batching cocktails, etc.Maintains a clean, organized bar and ensures it is stocked with clean glasswareFollows all Alcohol Service laws and is mindful of safe alcohol service, including checking photo IDsProcesses guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS systemCommunicate clearly and respectfully with guests, teammates, and managementChange, move, and organize kegs as neededAssist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up the barAssist with other side work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware and refilling condimentsPerforms other related duties as assignedPrivate Dining & Special Events ParticipationFrom time to time, Servers and Bartenders may be scheduled to work private dining events, buyouts, or special functions. These events may differ from standard restaurant service in the following ways:Steps of service may vary based on event format, client preferences, or contracted agreementsService style may include coursed meals, preset menus, buffet service, or limited guest interactionStaffing structure and assigned responsibilities may differ from standard shiftsTip distribution may follow an alternate tip-out or gratuity structure specific to the event and may differ from the restaurant’s standard tipping policyEmployees are expected to adapt professionally to these variations and follow all event-specific guidelines provided by management.
