Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. is seeking a friendly, energetic bartender to join its on-site team at Kimpton Santo in San Antonio. You will provide high-quality guest service, share knowledgeable recommendations, and maintain bar cleanliness throughout shifts.

You will work within a collaborative hospitality environment, with opportunities to grow and develop within our premium-brand hotel portfolio across markets. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

Outgoing, social personality.
Attention to detail.
Passion for service with a positive attitude.
Collaborative, team-player mindset.
Bartending experience preferred but not required.
Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality service to guests with friendly conversation and recommendations.
Maintain bar cleanliness and perform daily side duties.
Know menu items, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
Process payments and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
Promote teamwork and maintain a safe work environment.
Check IDs and monitor beverage service to prevent overserving.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings.
Maintain high cleaning standards of the bar and complete daily cleaning and side work.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
Check identification of all guests and monitor beverage consumption to prevent overservice.
Perform other duties as assigned.
