White Lodging in Plaza San Antonio seeks a bartender to deliver high-quality guest service in a fast-paced bar setting. You will engage guests, answer questions about menu items, and maintain impeccable bar cleanliness while supporting daily operations.

Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; flexible to work long hours, weekends, and holidays. Company benefits start Day 1 and include health, life, and retirement options with growth opportunities across multiple hotels.

• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Process payments and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Promote teamwork and a safe, friendly work environment.
• Check IDs and monitor beverage service to prevent overserving.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings.
• Maintain high cleaning standards of the bar and complete daily cleaning and side work.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; accurately answer guest questions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
• Check identification of all guests and monitor beverage consumption to prevent overservice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
